ASSUNÇÃO CASTELO BRANCO
Natural de Lisboa, nascida em Fevereiro de 1965, formada de base em Gestão Hoteleira na Universidade Internacional de Lisboa, mora atualmente no Estoril. O seu percurso na fotografia começou como hobby a fotografar cenários que lhe chamavam a atenção. O interesse foi crescendo e em 2013, completou o Curso Profissional de Fotografia Digital, na Oficina da Imagem então dirigida pelo fotografo Carlos Marques. A partir dai foram vários os workshops e cursos que frequentou em instituições dedicadas ao meio entre eles, Cenjor - Centro Protocolar de Formação para Jornalistas e APAF.
Hoje dedica-se inteiramente à fotografia como fotógrafa independente.
Participou em varias exposições colectivas entre 2015 e 2019 e em 2020, foi convidada a participar com uma obra, juntamente com mais 29 artistas, na Exposição "Dar Luz a Esta Causa", iniciativa anual de angariação de fundos da CAPITI em prol da saude mental de Jovens e Crianças.
ASSUNÇÃO CASTELO BRANCO
Born in Lisbon, with basic training in Hotel Management at the International University of Lisbon, Assunção currently lives in Estoril. Her journey in photography began as a hobby, photographing scenarios which called her attention. Interest grew and in 2013, she completed the Course in Professional Digital Photography - Portrait, Photojournalism, Advertising and Fashion at Oficina da Imagem, directed by photographer Carlos Marques, having received a certified diploma by the APPI college of judges and an honorable mention in the area of Photojournalism – Sport. From then on, she attended several workshops and courses to complement her training in Cenjor - Protocol Training Center for Journalists - and APAF.
Today, she dedicates herself entirely to photography as an independent photographer.
She participated in several collective exhibitions between 2015 and 2019. In 2020, Assunção was invited to participate with her work in the Exhibition "Dar Luz a Esta Causa" (CAPITI's annual fundraising initiative in favor of mental health of youth and children), along with 29 other renowned artists. In 2022, she participated with two projects and 10 works in a solo exhibition within the framework of the Portuguese Congress of Endocrinology 2022.
